The museum is housed in a former convent of the Augustinian '400 and exhibition halls are dedicated to painting (starting from the end of '200), to sculpture, furniture and saved the sacred. Tip of works by Francesco di Ser Cenni, Mark di Bonaventura, Ugolino di Nerio. The most valuable piece is the charming wooden crucifix in the second half of the thirteenth century, a Christ "triumphans" - that is the living Christ who triumphed over death - among the most exemplary of the original medieval Italian sculpture.
